Olga Litvinenko - Miss NY USA 2013 Pageant

On the weekend of January 18th - 20th, 2013, Olga Livinenka was up for the title of Miss New York USA 2013 at the Performing Arts Center at Purchase College. Although she lost to Joanne Nosuchinksky of Hell's kitchen, this Ukrainian native awed many wearing a Naeem Kahan gown tailored and loaned to her by Madame Paulette. Olga approached the company in late December after Patty Holmstrom (first runner up to Miss NY USA 2010 and friend of CEO John Mahdessian) advised Livinenka to aproach Madame Paulette for a gown loan and sponsorship.

By December 26th, Livinenka already had 2,500 likes on her Facebook fan page, a bathing suit sponsorship by Sonja Baram, her entire entry fee completely funded by a fundraising campaign via www.gofundme.com, and a clothing sponsorship by Catherine Malandrino with co-sponsorship by star trainer Antonio Valverde. Madame Paulette came on board to sponsor her bid for the Miss NY USA title after her initial approach, supporting her volunteer efforts and spokesperson work for the Edeyo Foundation, an important Haiti education initiative.

Olga Livinenka came to America at three years old after her family fled their home in Kiev after the Chernobyl disaster. A prime example of the American Dream, Madame Paulette was proud to support someone who has come so far and who was able to wear her tailored gown with such grace and elegance.

The Madame Paulette family is proud of Olga for her participate, and look forward to hearing about her successes in the future.
